The 13th Annual Bat Release at Feldman Ecopark!

Feldman Ecopark hosted its annual bat release after winter hibernation. Over 1,000 rescued bats, cared for by specialists during the cold season, have returned to the wild.

This event is a long-standing tradition of the Bat Rehabilitation Center and took place for the 13th year in a row. Since 2013, the Center has been rescuing bats, ensuring safe winter conditions, and releasing them back into nature each spring.

Our mission is to protect Ukraine’s bat population, as all species are listed in the Red Book. These creatures play a crucial role in the ecosystem, regulating insect populations.
