Today we managed to evacuate a fairly large group of animals from the Ecopark: four orangutans – Vasya, Kuzya, Messy and Ponochka, nine chimpanzees, and 22 alpacas. Now all the great apes that remained in the territory of Feldman Ecopark whose winter enclosure was bombed a few days ago – are in a safer place. They were accepted at the Kharkiv Zoo, for which we are deeply grateful to our friends and colleagues. Alpacas are still at my house, and in a few days they will be taken to the Kovalivka Ecopark near Poltava. Many thanks to our employees and volunteers who were not afraid to come and save the animals from the shelling, to our colleagues who agreed to shelter them, and also to all of you – caring people who have provided and continue providing us with financial assistance and thus made the rescue operation possible! We will definitely continue the evacuation of the animals of the Ecopark that are in the line of fire. After all, every living being has the right to life, and we will do everything to save all our pets.
