It is a free to enter socio-humanitarian multi-complex, created in 2011 to organize leisure activities for the residents of Kharkiv and Ukraine, conduct cultural and educational events, foster tolerant attitudes towards people, animals, nature, different cultures and religions, as well as to provide psychosocial rehabilitation for adults and children, rescue various species of animals and plants at risk of extinction, etc.

As of the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Feldman Ecopark had over 5,000 animals of 300 species in its zoo collection; over 28,000 rescued animals; over 7,000 people underwent psychosocial rehabilitation, including 2,000 children; over 11,000 students of the Children's Ecological and Naturalistic Academy. Also ethno-cultural, sports, educational, entertainment events, concerts, and festivals were held there. One of the most famous events is the annual Chrysanthemum Ball, it was attended by over 4.5 million guests. Since its inception, Feldman Ecopark has been visited by over 21 million people from all regions of Ukraine and dozens of countries around the world.

From the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine until the time when the enemy in the Kharkiv region was pushed back to the state border, Feldman Ecopark was subjected to shelling and bombing almost every day. As a result, the infrastructure of the Ecopark was completely destroyed, almost all of its buildings, including animal enclosures, rehabilitation centers, etc., were destroyed. Six employees and volunteers of Feldman Ecopark were killed by the Russian military. About three hundred animals also died (lions and other predators, apes (orangutans, chimpanzees), kangaroos, ungulates, birds, etc.).

The process of clearing the territory of the Ecopark (more than 140 hectares) from unexploded rockets and shells, clearing debris, rebuilding enclosures for animals, etc., is currently underway. The Ecopark restoration project takes into account the most modern global trends in the development of parks, the highest standards of animal husbandry, etc. Among the main directions of its work will be helping people affected by war, as well as helping injured animals and restoring populations of rare animals. This is an ambitious humanitarian project that requires significant funding.

All funds received from private benefactors will be directed exclusively to the reconstruction of the Ecopark, the development of its projects (in particular, aimed at psychosocial assistance to children and adults affected by the war, as well as to the rescue of animals) and the provision of food and care for the animals of the Feldman Ecopark zoo collection (in particular, those of them who are in forced emigration).

Every month, on the day you chose for the transfer of funds (if there are funds on the card), your card will be automatically debited with the amount you specified. The system makes up to four debit attempts, if all of them are unsuccessful, the next attempt is the next month. The first write-off of the charitable contribution will take place on the date you choose. Then the funds will be debited every month on the date you choose.

The Ecopark used and will use various methods of raising funds, in particular, the development of social entrepreneurship on its territory (food establishments, entertainment for children, etc.), certain paid services for its visitors, but the entrance to the territory of the Ecopark and participation in its main projects have always been and will be free of charge. This is the basis of the philosophy of our Ecopark and its founder Oleksandr Feldman, according to which opportunities for recreation and rehabilitation should be available to everyone, regardless of their financial status.

Feldman Ecopark is already open! From July 1, 2023, the first location of the Ecopark - Alpaca Valley with a rehabilitation center, Ponyland, a social food court, etc. welcomes guests. And the time frame in which the main part of the Ecopark will be opened also depends on you - the more actively benefactors will support it, the faster the work on the restoration of the Ecopark will progress.
