1,000 Teams Tournament is the project uniting different sports in Feldman Ecopark. It is aimed at promotion of the healthy life-style in all of its aspects. Despite the fact that the project is meant, first of all, for children and youth, everyone is able to find a desirable sport regardless of the age and initial physical condition. The Tournament provides opportunities to carry out training and sports competitions .

 

The 1,000 Teams Tournament was launched as a children’s futsal tournament in 2001 on the initiative of Oleksandr Feldman. It was Ukraine’s first large-scale project aimed at the revival of mass children and young sport. During the years of tournament’s existence, nearly 1 million school-children took part in it.

 

The Tournament provides opportunities to carry out training and competitions in futsal, ping-pong, volleyball, streetball, skiing, cycle race, cross-country run, different kinds of gymnastics, chess, and other kinds of sport.

 

The special health improving programmes were developed for the people with special needs
